If we assume that Superman's X-ray vision actually functions by emitting actual X-rays from his eyes, then the density of lead would be enough to hinder it. The same goes for the harmful radiation from Kryptonite that weakens the lost son of Krypton. Therefore, this does not imply a weakness in the Man of Steel to lead bullets. His invulnerable superhuman physique dissipates the kinetic energy of the projectile, leaving him unharmed.

But what about Kryptonite bullets?!
