Forcing Subtitles

I recently brought a Archos 5 (250gb) and It doenst have an option to turn subtitles on videos, which have subtitles but needs to be activated.

Anyone know if there is a program to force subtitles to show regardless?

PocketDivX Encoder can encode subtitles. When you open the file to be encoded it should detect the subtitles file and ask you if you want to incorporate the subtitles into the resulting encoded file. If you select the "direct video/audio stream copy" options then the encoding process should be quite quick.

I'm not sure if your encoding files yourself or just downloading, so this might not be what your looking for.

If you have an Archos WiFi device connected to the Internet, you can update your device directly by going to menu>Firmware & Plug-ins>Online Firmware Update. Press OK and then follow the on-screen instructions.

i personally NEVER recommend updating firmware over a wifi connection.

Yea, I love you too baby, I believe that program is what I'm looking for, I'm at work right now I'll let you know if that works. And who'd fucking think they'd release an updte just today...
