Random Drug Tested

I get an email yesterday saying I have been selected to take a random drug test. So I fly to the nearest head shop and buy Protox Detox drink for $50, drink it, and then drink 3 bottles of water. I drank the drink at 6:00pm and took my test at 8:00pm. I pee'd about 6-7 times before my test. I smoked on Saturday, just a couple hits. What are my chances I will fail the test?

would just really depend on how much was in your system. when's the last time you smoked before saturday and how often do you usually do it? detox usually get the job done but 2 hours beforehand is a little iffy. but hey GL, you'll probably be alright

It really depends on the cleanser. Some need a few hours to work while others like terminator gold only need about 2 hour. If they tested it right there and haven’t said anything to you yet it’s a good bet you’re safe.

They sent the sample off to some company. I drank two bottles of green tea before. I got the email at 5pm. The drink said it was fast acting and only took an hour to "work" I dont smoke everyday, and when I do smoke its only a couple hits from a dugout. I got the Protox detox extreme fast acting for people with high body mass.

i've used the same drink and i got by np, it was for health insurance not a work related test so its possible they weren't looking for thc and only tobacco related chems

I wish. I got 3 hours from time of Email to take it. If I didnt in the 3 hours then its an automatic fail.

That makes no sense. That goes under the assumption that people check their emails at least once every 3 hours.

The fucked up part is I didnt get the email at first, they sent it to the wrong person. My boss text messaged me saying "You have to take a drug test, check your email". I never got it, so she had to forward it to me. Basically everyone I work with was drug tested. Something happened and the group got tested.

On the other hand, requiring 24 hour notice defeats the purpose of a drug test. There's ways of passing when you shouldn't when given that much time.

If they really want to catch drug users, they should do a random drug test on the spot.

i.e. you're working when all of a sudden HR taps you on the shoulder and asks to see you in their office, gives you a cup and says "Go pee."

We have this jackass that talks about doing coke all the time, he was talking to a vendor about it the other day, and alot of people overheard. His dad and mom are upper management too. So he gets away with all kinds of shit. I think he is the reason everyone is being tested cause they have to test him. He was absent yesterday, so he gets a full day to find a way to pass the test. I smoke a fucking bowl once a week, and I'll fail, but this jackass will probably pass. Ultimately, If I fail its my fault. It just sucks that I might lose my job because of something so harmless.
