Security tokens not working?

Is anyone have problems with their security tokens? I'm inputting my data correctly in the login but I keep getting POL error 5311. I went and changed the password but it's still giving me this message. I'm able to login to the site just fine with my password/security token password but not through POL.

Are you using the token for the first time? or does this happen suddenly, despite being able to log in previously?

Nevermind I got it to work, it was something so stupid simple I didn't look at it first. Caps lock was on. -_-. Mod you can lock this thread now.

SE's instructions are a little opaque. It took me several accidental discoveries to get it to work.
