Siren World's Undefeated Besieged Record Eclipses 2000 Mark! (06/04/2009)

Ever since the introduction of Besieged to Vana'diel approximately three years ago, Siren has emerged as the only world to maintain an immaculate, undefeated record. And as of May 27th 2009, this record has reached an amazing 2000 consecutive victories!

We would like to offer our heartiest congratulations to all the denizens of Siren World, and wish good fortune to those in all worlds who do their part in the frenetic defense of the Imperial Capital, Al Zahbi.

Pandemonium Warden, one of the deadliest creatures to ever threaten Vana'diel, has been defeated for the first time ever! The Warden had remained undefeated since his introduction along with the new Aht Urhgan Notorious Monsters in June 2008. Huh... kinda funny. I avoid it like the plague unless I need skillups and we still hit 2000. Most of my friends dont bother unless a couple of generals fall, then whitegate floods in.

my server quetzalcoalt probably has the highest fail rate in besieged, we lose the candy once a month . Nobody gives a shit about besieged.

How many total servers got dicked with their first loss because of a Server Maintenance, and then stopped caring after that?

Think it's cause peoples are getting used to what to do/what to not engage ever (like fucking Lamia #2... fu, really, fu). Not like it's hard to do, but in the end i saw sometimes besiegeds with only 200ish peoples in al zahbi kicking ass of undeads under 30 mins.
Allways find some friends while going to one, and could set my PC to not lag much now while doing it, so it's a fun event for me

When I was playing on Xbox, it appeared to be programmed specificly to have me play from begining to 1 minute before the end, then lock me up just at the right time so I'd miss points, but still have put in a full workload.

Now I am on PC again, but I bare such a grudge I've only got back once because I recently needed a Revitiliser. That's it.

Or just a couple BLUs. I routinely Heat Breath everyone during Besieged. If we ever lose, it will probably be my fault.
