Who's the best character in sf3 or is it like a RPS between Ken Chun and Yun?

I'd personally say that Yun is the best though, broken as fuck when used properly.

Well, top tiers have stupid-as-hell match-ups... they counter everything.
If you're just looking to win just stick with top tier, they are at the top for a reason.

I wouldn't say you could reliably win tourneys with mid tier characters but you wouldn't be completely shut out in most cases.

I think it's safe to say in most fighters that unless you go to a place where the king (sagat, mk, who the fuck ever) is flat out banned, that being able to beat EVERY other character doesnt mean shit because you still lose to that single character.

This only holds true against top/s-tier characters, if you get countered by fucking yoshi/ken then that's just on you.

Of course it doesn't... always remember that tier lists are not the end-all-be-all.
You ought to know that by now, there's always that chance that the Sean may beat the Chun no matter how small it is. NOT TO SAY THAT SEAN IS A VIABLE CHARACTER BY ANY MEANS. (just gotta throw that out there)

Nah son, it's true.

I'll put it this way, ike has a 4-6D against a large majority of the cast, with falco being a 65/35 D, Dedede being a 7-3D and Olimar being an 8-2D.

I can reliably beat falcos, dededes, and I only lost to the best olimar in the country because I killed myself. In fact I find those 3 matchups somewhat easier than other matchups that are considered only a 4-6 (marth for example, snake might as well be a 5-5 because ike is the only mother fucker than can kill him before 120)

All of this, however, doesn't mean shit because meta knight flat out rapes ike's entire life and meta knight is king. People think I'm being prissy because I won't do the meta knight matchup, and I will admit that my hatred for it probably makes it worse than it has to be but at the end of the day I know the truth regarding it.

The only characters that I personally find flat out boring to watch are conventional snakes, dededes, and lucarios. But generally the lower tiers are forced to do more sensational stuff to win a match, yeah. The more interesting ones are a low tier vs a high/top tier where the match is actually close.
