Boston Hempfest, now with decriminalization!

Boston Freedom Rally - on Boston Common - Sept. 19, 2009 Noon-6PM

It's actually the 20th annual rally, however this year is the first since Marijuana was effectively decriminalized in Massachusetts (maximum penalty for possession of under an ounce is $100, under 18 also includes community service) so no one will be arrested unless they are selling. It's a BYOB (bring your own bud) event though I imagine some folks will be willing to share.

Live bands & speakers on the full legalization/taxation effort will be part of the day's events.
