Agreed. Stephen Colbert characters in Venture Bros and Harvey Birdman were excellent. I can't fucking stand his persona in The Colbert Report after he does his news bit. So goddamn irritating.

The episode was nothing but awesome, but this news brings me down. I guess he forgot that his asshole character is supposed to end when the cameras stop rolling. Very disappointed in him right now.

IIRC, I remember reading something incredibly similar about them trying to get him back on harvey birdman and his people saying he wasn't interested, but he did end up coming back for the finale. (although the show was probably ending because he left in the first place). So I wouldn't be surprised if he does end up voicing impossible at one point.

I honestly use Adultswim's site. Streams smooth quick and I can jump right to another episode if I want after. That's where I watched this. No reason for me to download something I'm gonna only watch once or twice anyways.

Just watched the first episode; pretty awesome. Nice to see more background on the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend, as well as the henchmen. The story focus on the villains and henchmen always put Venture Bros. ahead of so many other shows. I'm really happy to see that there is a lot of great storytelling potential in exploring those areas.

Looking forward to more episodes. When do they start airing in the US?
