Leaked image: Campaign Code in FFXIII? Beta chance?!

Well friends, Final Fantasy XIII comes out in two days, along with the much awaited campaign code to shed some light on the mystery mingling inside that luscious Lightning-colored packaging.

Amazon is the quickest way I'll be able to get my hands on FFXIII, so I may not have the sure thing to you as quickly as I'd like, but I stumbled across a leaked picture of what appears to be the campaign code packaged with FFXIII.

On the top is a URL to the FFXIV site with an FFXIII directory, but the URL currently redirects you to the main site. The main section is cut off at the edges and blurred in the center, but I'll sum up the paragraphs for you for what I'm pretty sure it says:

Like they said, though, it seems to indicate the ticket will grant access to a beta test, but who knows where this picture came from. Thursday's the big day!

The only question is if it's true, since people have photoshopped FFXIV beta letters, PS3 home screens and more.

here's hoping the release of XIII will open the floodgates to more XIV details.

If they still plan on releasing the game in 2010 i would imagine they would have to start testing soon if they haven't already started.

I wonder if they're doing this lottery-for-beta-chance when the NA version comes out? I remember reading about the campaign code a while back and seeing something about it on a SE/FF page saying it was for an in-game item in 14, didn't say anything about this lottery for beta though.

Well I don't think NA will be able to get this opportunity (Kind of how we were fucked with the keychains for moogle cap because JP got a code if they bought the keychain online but NAs had to go to fanfest). The reasoning is because if JPs are getting this beta copy earlier than NA it means FF14 beta will launch earlier than NA's FFXIII release and assuming a synced global release it should mean NA beta will be at the same time as JP Beta. Thus NA FFXIII will not contain this code assuming beta is before FF13 NA release which it seems it will be

Launch is confirmed for international, but for beta, I don't think there was any confirmation on that. Half of Closed beta could be Japanese and the other half could be NA and EU. While open will include both as will launch, but again, I don't know. No confirmation. They could just be getting their beta codes super early and will be doing the same with our FFXIII pre-orders THEN start the Beta.

Won't even know if this is legit in the first place until FFXIII is released anyway..

Can you not get a debit card? All you need is a checking account to get a visa or mastercard debit card.
