Sent iPhone in for warranty repair

Sent my iPhone to Apple yesterday for warranty repair. About 25-30 dead pixels started to appear in the lower right hand corner of the screen, and the CSR told me that it will be replaced or repaired and I would have the phone back in 3-4 days

I jailbroke my phone, but restored the phone with iTunes before sending it to Apple. However, I did not use the "Erase all settings" option before or after I did the restore

Any idea if Apple will find out it was Jailbroken before? Or if doing a restore resets the phone to factory?

I haven't been able to find any concrete proof either way online unfortunately

They sent me a brand new iPhone

Which is awesome because the wifi was defective on my old one, new one has no scratches at all, perfect screen, speakers are super clean, and it has a new serial # from my old one

I expected to get a refurb or repair, this is awesome

Just curious - how long did you have the phone for before this happened? I bought one of those clear plastic "shell" cases for my iphone as soon as I bought it (over a year ago) and man I'm glad I did. It has been dropped and spilled on too many times to count and still works.
