Xbox 360 Headset

I currently have this Turtle Beach X1 headset, and have been pretty happy with it.

In this picture you can see where the xbox plugs into the headset which plugs into the tv, allowing you to get your game sounds through the headset.

Now I am switching from component to HDMI for my xbox hook up, making it so I cannot use this headset anymore.

Does anyone know of any headsets like this for the 360 that will allow game sounds, as well as game chat, and will allow me to do it with an HDMI hookup?

I had that problem with my 360, the solution is pretty simple if you don't mind damaging a cable.

I did this and it's worked perfectly fine for over a year.

Basically all you do it take off the bulky plastic part so that it will fit both plug-ins into the back of the 360? Seems easy enough, I'll have to try this out when I get home and set the TV up. Thanks again.

Yep, did this to avoid spending the $60 or whatever it is for microsoft's "home theater" adapter, fucking horseshit.
