no but the average pet rat onl lives 2-3 years so once they get arthritis it's a sign that they're really old. Also, they don't eat so I'm having to feed them baby food through a syringe, and if the hurt to much to eat...ya know...

Lol one of ours when she was a baby was so small she could fit through the bars of their cage.

I saw her do it like twice where she whipped through the bars and back in which freaked me out, but fiance insisted I was seeing things. Sure enough though one night at like 2 am, I feel something moving in the bed. I woke boytoy up and we turned on the lights. She had crawled underneath the bed sheet and was running around lol

She kept doing this for a good two months, liked to nibble on our toes too. Then she got too fat.
