Basically the real party and stuff will be that friday - sunday (4-6) but I account for people who may want to spend a week in new york so it'll really be until the 10th but will obviously die down after the weekend passes. I say the third because if people fly in on the 4th and expect me to meet them at the airport any time past like... 1PM, they're sorely mistaken.

Now that I have a date set, there's a small issue with location.

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO PEOPLE WHO CAN MAKE IT REGARDLESS OF LOCATION BECAUSE IT'S NOT A MATTER OF PREFERENCE

This is for people who literally CAN NOT make it to one location but can make it to another. DC's party over the weekend will probably end up being in woodbridge VA which is about a good 25 or more driving from actual DC unless I can find someone else who doesn't mind hosting a party that lives in the actual city.

New York will end up being centered around brooklyn but friday night will likely be spent out near midtown manhattan.

Convenience-wise it's obvious that NY wins in my eyes but this boils down to numbers.

Note that this poll isn't fucking rhetorical: If you make a vote I will be PMing you to confirm that you intend on showing up.

Yeah it just boils down to numbers. Like if 4-5 people can make it to DC but cant make it to NY, I'd hold it there. If 1 person can make it to DC but not NY and I find a place in the actual metro DC area to hold the party, I'll do it there. Otherwise it's sticking to NY.

DC's about 100 bucks cheaper on my wallet, flight-wise, but I'd probably not have to look for a hotel in NYC.
