As much as I love mega man, I couldn't stop laughing as soon as I saw the porn-movie style "Platinum Cinema" producting logo. Then I saw Mega Man, Proto Man, Roll, Gutsman... lol...

The guy was posting here on bg for awhile.

To say it is bad would be kind of pointless. Of course it is bad. I think he has the heart, but not in the right place. A fan movie should NOT have more than 4 Robot Masters, let alone all of them. You are aiming too high and will fail even more so. He seems to be too ambitious when he should be taking a conservative approach to things.

Yeah, the guy creating the film seemed pretty cool about the community lambasting him about the movie. Took the criticism in stride. It's hard to throw together a no-budget fan film and not get criticized. Looks OK, better than I thought when the casting was originally posted a year ago or so...still, I always picture megaman as a short pudgy albino midget, not so much asian.

The acting is fine, but the costume isn't as accurate as I'd like it to be. I mean, Dr. Wily doesn't have short hair ever, his hair is long and AS CRAZY AS HE IS

People bashing on fan made stuff is getting old...but don't mind me, I forgot I was on the Internet for a second.

No clue what kind of budget he had, but the trailer wasn't as terrible as I expected. Got to give the guy credit for actually pulling it off and finishing his project. Acting was okay for a fan movie...it could have been worse.

Story is probably going to suck tho. There wont be a lot of action because it's fan made (can't afford it), and talking just doesn't work well with a megaman related plot. For me, a megaman movie would be: Short intro --> 30minutes of non stop action while megaman is running toward his objective --> final showdown.

Seriously, I think it's a pretty neat project. My only criticism of the trailer was the fight scenes- Mega Man doesn't really do hand to hand fighting. It seemed like he had some special effects stuff going on, so projectile combat could've been pulled off, I think. Also I hope a lot of classic Mega Man tunes get in the movie as opposed to the generic epic/serious stuff in the trailer.

Just watched the trailer a few days ago, and was surprised to see I actully liked it. Considering its a fan made movie I think it looks pretty good. Good pick on the person playing Dr. Wily, guy seems to nail the role pretty well.

The CG robot master look kinda crappy but then again this is fan made, can't help but wonder if it would have been better to have them be played by human actors, even if it would of likely looked as cheesy as a power rangers monster.

I'm excited to see it too. Hope the writer/director gets a nice career boost for this. The trailer is really good for a fan made movie.
