Bing cashback question/help???

Ok here's my story, placed an order for a laptop from HP when they had a 25% Bing cashback offer back in early May. I decided to cancel my order a couple weeks later, due to finding something else liked better.

I received e-mail from Bing like 5-10min after I placed my order, confirming my cashback I was to receive from this purchase, after 60 days has passed. Well after I canceled my order with HP, I never received updated info. in regards to the cashback status from the order being canceled.

Anyways time passes by and I almost forgot, about making the purchase and canceling it. Then last Friday, I received an e-mail from Bing telling me to not forgot my cashback that has been rewarded to me. Login to my Bing cashback account and sure enough there was about $650 dollars available to transfer from Bing into my Paypal or bank account.

Just wanted to some thoughts/opinions on what I should do? A part of me is thinking they had 60 days to verify everything and whatnot. Their fault for messing up and I did try to search for similar stories. Seems people that have had this happen to them have not experienced any problems but then most of those were for cashback of $75 dollars or less.

They are discontinuing the BING cash back service(It wasnt profitable for them), so take it while you can still access it NOW. I got an e-mail saying that they would give the cash to anyone regardless of wait sense they are discontinuing the service after this month.

Alright well placed a request to have the funds transferred over to my bank account. Guess I'll leave it untouched in my savingsfor now, incase Bing/MS tries to come after me down the road. If not I'm buying a new LED LCD TV on Black Friday!

It's their problem if they didn't catch it. Credit cards that have cashback programs will always be on the lookout for people trying to buy/return items to scam the system. If the Bing people were too dumb to catch it, sucks for them. Take the money and run!

Bing got rid of cashback recently iirc so I think you'd be safe to take the money out as knowing microsoft they probably don't have people even working on this anymore. I also bet you're not the only person this happened to.
