    Green Screen of Death!

Basically any time I watch a youtube video I get a "Kernal video card driver has failed" error message, screen blinks a few times, and the video player turns green. This happens with any streaming flash video on any site.

I heard of a bug on the adobe website, but there hasn't been a fix yet. Any ideas, fellas?

I would start off with your video card drivers. Update them.
Also look into your mobo chipset drivers.

Can you list out your computer spec to get an idea of what you have?

If you feel its flash or adobe related, try uninstalling that and reinstalling. Maybe download codecs? Google CCCP codecs?

I just updated Flash this afternoon, no issues with youtube / streaming videos. I would guess it's the video drivers although there are a number of things it could be. I'm using ATI 10.7 drivers for reference.

When you updated your video drivers, did you full uninstall them prior to installing next version? I use DriverSweeper as well to make sure everything is gone and there are no old remnants left.

If you have an ATI card you are likely suffering from their new boost feature on streaming/flash video. I have a high end ATI card and I had to turn it off because my card was going way into overdrive.

Edit: that is if you installed the 10.7 drivers or the 10.8 beta

Bump in hopes of finding a solution to this. It's maddening.

Have you tried turning off hardware acceleration in adobe? Or about updating drivers, have you done a full uninstall, driver sweeper in safe mode, and reinstall drivers?
