After the last update, the search function on your site didn't work. Is this still a problem or has this been rectified?

It works. The prevailing issue was/is server lag. It might take a second to update the page at times.

I think the servers are just running slowly for some reason. I installed POL onto a new computer last night, and it took me 2 hours to download the POL installer (60MB file) from S-Es website going at a steady 12k/s. After installing, it estimated almost 5 hours just to update POL (not FFXI) and I ended up just leaving it running overnight.

Have to agree. I had one too many update days where I'm stuck downloading til late at night, while lucky friends get it done by 6pm. The worst is the AIM messages about how awesome everything is, when you can't log on to do it yourself.

This. Unless they adjusted that in this update. All joking aside, my guess would be potentially from the new campaign-esque system, just based on the fact that they added weapons with special WS to regular campaign. The latent is probably only active during the new battle system. (What's it called again?) Same kind of pattern. Would also keep people from total ragefest, considering how limited that use would be.

few more weapons have popped up and so far no other job has pulled off stealing a relic ws

1haxe is bst only
gaxe is war only
gk is sam only
staff is still blm/smn

expect dagger and sword to change that though, slight chance for h2h

blu on sword and dnc on dagger, since they aren't on relic weapons. pup might get h2h but SE has excluded them before(asuran)
