Need help clearing up space on C: Drive pleaaase

Well i'm trying to install the FFXIV Open Beta and it says I need 12GB on the directory with my "My Documents" folder and somehow I only have 9GB free out of 40GB and I couldve sworn I only installed Windows 7 to it, and my D: Drive is 977GB free space...anyone know how I can free up some space?

    Couple other things to try:

Download/run CCleaner which may help you clean up some cache files and the like.

Download/run WinDirStat to see where your space is going.

With a 40GB drive (SSD I assume), you probably will do best to move your account folders to another drive, or be vigilant about moving data to your data drive(s).

This. Everyone should have this program and run it weekly. If you're reading this thread and don't have it, download it.
