    Horizontal Span, Win7 and nVidia

Is this possible yet? Mainly looking at this for multi-monitor gaming. I know ATI/AMD users can do it through Eyefinity, but it seems nVidia are fucking slow at implementing this. Are there any 3rd party solutions?

In case people don't know what I mean, I'm not talking about expanded view where each monitor conforms to its own resolution, I'm talking about spanning across the entire desktop either horizontally or vertically so that it acts as one single big resolution.

If not, does anyone know if it's possible to launch Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2 at custom resolutions? If so, I guess as a last resort I could launch it at the custom resolution in windowed, no border mode and drag it across both monitors.

I'm assuming you're talking about the nVidia equivalent of eyefinity, which is nVidia Surround. nVidia requires you to use at least 2 video cards if you want to do it.
