I wonder if its going to cost like 10 grand though.
If I had some disposable income I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I think they completely misunderstand how high-end WoW gamers operate. They don't, for example, want to touch-type their way through a raid. They want to reach for AT MOST 12-15 keys for everything, hand never off mouse, and not have to reach for every corner of an input board for the one-purpose button amongst a hundred other buttons.
The device seems capable of handling other types of games, just not games where sophisticated, paged keybinds are the norm. There's also something very uncomfortable about a keyboard without built in wrist rests. My joints already hurt just looking at that thing and remembering how bad, say, Apple keyboards are. That board looks teeny-tiny, AND it's touch activated? Not being able to rest your hands on it without constantly pressing down on keys only adds to the discomfort.

looks horrible imo. Seems like its gonna be an expensive device for an extremely limited market. Even if its only like 150-250$, that's still a lot of money to play WoW in a less proficient setting then at your desktop or laptop. It also doesn't taking into a account pretty big things such as addons and needing a bigger screen to see lots of shit easier. I don't think I could play WoW w/o some basic addons (I could forgo a lot I currently use, but there are some I can't function as well w/o)

The primary advantage is that you'd no longer need visible action bars, ever again. I know some players already do this by having memorized all their basic keybinds but I change mine around all the time. If my keyboard took over that job then the rest of my addons have more real estate both in RAM and on screen.
But that one advantage doesn't outweigh the other considerable problems of playing WoW on this thing. This is not a device for WoW players unless all you use it for is your Auctioneer alt :D

What's that screen of in the 2nd screenshot? Looks like a beefed/modded up char select screen!
-
Looks like Warcraft 3 campaign select screen.

My Pavilion netbook does this already and has dedicated video (No Integrated Intel shit here). Also @ CES they said it runs on an Atom. Not seeing anything here besides a glorified netbook with WASD keyboard and some simple extras.
Also, Warcraft III.

Ah. I should buy it, it looks spiffy! Haha. (Warcraft 3)
Pikarya what HP netbook model do you have? I've been on the lookout for one which plays WoW (so I can take it to my RL friend's house who lives 300 miles away) but can output HDMI 720p at least but 1080p will also be fine if possible, to a HD TV. Although I believe most should handle WoW anyway I just would prefer to go by what people have existing instead of just finding one with dedicated video and 2gb of RAM.

The idea is alright, but I don't think it'll fly. I wouldn't mind something like that for dailies if I really needed something that wasn't a laptop and I had to be out of my place, for some strange specific reason, but I wouldn't spend money on the thing.

Games just aren't fun to play when you get on tiny screens. M11x is small and barely bearable.

Aside from the portability factor, I don't think i'd enjoy raiding much on a tiny screen unless I'm really pressed for it. otherwise, levelling alts or skilling up professions or farming gold I can see a path around that. But M11x is overkill for it in this case, as much as I would love to have one, I can't afford!

forget raiding, i dont think i could play, period, on a screen that tiny
