    Removing a graphics card

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. It was seated really good in there, gave it some delicate tugs and it eventually came out. Unclipped the PCI connectors too. For shipping it out though, lots and lots of bubble wrap I'm assuming? I don't have a box or anything that it came with.

I've never done this before and i really don't want to fuck anything up. The case is an Apevia X-Dreamer 3, and the mobo is situated against the far wall of the side display case. Graphics card sits parallel to it, looks like it's connected to two PCI-E connectors, and I can't tell but it also looks like it's situated in some blue slot on the mobo, a similar looking slot that you'd put RAM in. There's also a small blue piece, looks almost like a lever or switch on the side of the mobo that's closest to the front of the case, that looks attached to where the GPU is situated.

How do I remove the card safely? It needs to be RMA'd and I'm sending it back to CyberPower today. lolcyberpower all you want, but I need to get this thing out and ship it off to them so I can get a replacement.

The card is an ATI Radeon HD 5850. Pics inc soon, soon as I can get my computer to recognize my phone and I'll post them if people need them. Thanks in advance and let me know if you need anything clarified.

Unscrew the two slot screws, unplug the power supply from the GPU, hold your breath and pull with your fingers at the base of the GPU.

    Edit for your second question:

Shipping: Anti-static Bubblewrap Bag or Mailer (they are usually pink)

Alright, thanks. And when you say base of the GPU, do you mean the part seated in the mobo or the opposite end from the mobo?

Sorry, the part that is seated into your motherboard is what I was referring to.

The point of this is so you don't bend or damage any other piece of the GPU. Make sure you are grounding yourself before you are touching any piece of your computer.

You can do this by just touching both hands to the metal part of your computer case.
