Currently I am reading Tiger Force: A True Story of Men and War by Michael Sallah and Mitch Weiss. It's about the special forces unit that operated in Vietnam that were involved in the Massacre at My Lai. It was originally brought to light in 2004 that this unit performed an absurd amount of war crimes in this village. The Toledo Blade was the one that investigated and broke the story. The reporters that worked on it were given the Pulitzer Prize for the story.

Reading Dreams From My Father, 1984(again,) and The Color of Water. The Color of Water is among my favorite books and would definitely recommend it to others.

History of sexuality by Michel Foucault, it's about well, sexuality from the 16th century to present based on an analysis that uses a methodology he is known for (mechanisms of power). It more concretely talks about how our understanding of what sexuality means and represents came to be, and reverses the old polemic about sexuality being repressed (he argues that it's been just the opposite). He is very well known for starting many intellectual movements such as queer studies, agonism, and post structuralism (though he never identified with any of the previous).

Crown of Swords- Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time Series)

Book seven in a 12 book series, awesome.

Ugh. Robert Jordan. I'm all for a series that lasts, but come on. Twelve books is a bit over the top as far as I'm concerned. I stopped after the first three because I got the feeling the series was going to drag out for a long time. Same with the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Let them go. Start a new series. Except for Robert Jordan, he has an excuse since he's dead and all.

The Virgin's Lover by Philippa Gregory. Last in her series about the tudor line. All the books have been awesome, with The Other Boleyn Girl probably being the best. (Don't base it on the movie, movie made the main character in the book a secondary one )

I liked reading Night and that one book I think it was The Diary of a Young Girl, which contained excerpts of Anne Frank's diary.

Fuck ya! I'm reading The Shadow Rising from the Wheel of Time right now, I'm actually happy that it's so long, here's hoping it's still as good as it is now... If you liked LOTR or fantasy, give this series a try.

Also, I'm reading What is the What by Dave Eggers. It's for a class, but it's good enough that I'd read it on my own time. I'd type a description, but amazon probably would explain it better than me.
