So reviews on twitter & Rotten Tomatoes are ripping this movie apart. Looks like it's going to be a "wait for Redbox" type film.

Yeah, I saw that. It makes me sad. I was looking forward to it. Now I don't know if I want to go see.

I dont even bother looking at reviews/ratings anymore. Its all based on personal opinion. I can't stand Tom Hanks or Julia Roberts, arguably two of the of today's greatest actor/actress so I would tear any movie with them in it apart.

I found Cowboys and Aliens to be pretty good, definitely worth the time. Great Cast.

Don't let the reviews stop you. The movie delivers exactly what you are expecting and is in no way terrible. I found the movie to be incredibly entertaining and fun. In fact, I thought this was better than Captain America.

I was extremely dissapointed with Capt America.

I guess I'm spoiled because of my parents owning a small movie theatre and getting to see the movies for free whenever we get them, but I'll watch whatever movie is showing at the time. Just have to go in with an open mind and not expecting very much out of the movie, if you can do that then almost any movie has some level of entertainment to it.

On the other hand, if I had to actually pay the 10-15 dollars for a movie and concession then I guess I would also read up on reviews and make sure its worth it.

Either way, this movie would be worth the money/time in my opinion.

I can never really trust the critic reviews on these types of movies. I mean shit the movie is called Cowboys vs Aliens, it's not going to win any awards. To me it just looked like a fun summer movie with cowboys shooting aliens. I might go see it later this weekend when less people are around in theaters (damn Maryland is too damn full of people).

Anything is better than Thor, I dont know how the fuck people thinks that shit is any good. Both compared to comic source or to recent super hero movies.

Eh, was corny as hell. Also very slow at times, I didn't enjoy it much.

I don't find RT meter to be that helpful, but as a reference I do consider anything above 60% to be worthwhile generally speaking.

Enjoyable movie. I thought it was about on par with Captain America, perhaps a little better.

Not sure how people liked Thor. lol

This movie was about as cheesy and cliche as it was supposed to be.

Saw it tonight. Went in thinking "A storyline that an eight year old with toys could put together? Could be pretty good." It was an alright movie. Hated Olivia Wilde's character (despite her crazy hotness).

As a side note, Wilde had better get used to these Sci-Fi roles, because there has never been a more beautiful human being who does not look like a human being at all. Everything about Wilde looks like someone trying to computer generate a good-looking woman. Olivia Wilde is the Uncanny Valley.

It was a good flick. It was no Dark Knight... but then, what is?

Wilde did well, Craig was the stereotypical stoic bad ass, not much depth of emotion required there. Nothing Harrison Ford does can be terribly bad. I think Sam Rockwell's character was my favorite, the reasons for which bring me to my next point.

I honestly thought the atmosphere of the film seemed a bit too somber, could have done with more strategic placement of comedy. Would watch again.

Is this a Battle: LA type movie where you go in with no expectations and come out with an awesome fucking movie?

I went into Battle LA with high expectations and came out bored to tears.
