Watching this on the TV atm and I'm pretty interested in these products. Basically they're pots and pans that never stick.
Does anyone on BG have any of these and can give some realistic feedback?

I want to punch whoever came up with the name, many many times.
No, but I do have traditional cookware that "never sticks" because I know how to cook properly.
So.. you're talking about what exactly? Because this shit has existed for years.
I cook well too but occasionally running out of nonstick spray for whatever purposes is like going to the fridge to make a sandwich and grabbing all the ingredients and then realizing you have no bread :/
The potential to save money off this product is quite nice.
You don't need nonstick spray.
just learn how to take care of your cookware properly and you wont have any problem.
they work, but they're more expensive than traditional non-stick, there's no reason to buy it.
Non-stick is great for breakfast foods :D Or stuff that you don't really want to add any extra oil or butter to.
What a brilliant way to call something organic so you can jack up the price without getting the pesky certification. Thank goodness that no fertilizers or pesticides were used to grow these pots and pans.
they don't even call it organic, word does not appear on their website. misleading marketing is misleading.
I've actually considered buying one of these:
It would be better than ceramic in my opinion. I have some ceramic dishes and if you accidently drop them on a hard surface (which I've done more than once >.>) they can very easily shatter.
if you need cookware, find the nearest restaraunt supply outlet or foodie store and physically go there. don't buy cookware from the tv unless its a foreman grill.
fuck, now i'm hungry.
Bed, Bath & Beyond actually carries some pretty good cookware & knives. Knives would be another topic though.
Yea I work at Bed bath and beyond, and we carry some good cookware.
If you're looking for a real cookware set, find yourself a 20% off coupon and take a ride to BBB, you'll get a great deal on it. If you only use a couple of pans ever, then just take your coupon and buy one of the open stock pieces. I can recommend the Calphalon Contemporary Non stick sets if you want an entire set, or one of the Calphalon Unison open stock pieces (we have a deal going, two of the non stick unison pieces for like 60 bucks before coupon). Can't really go wrong with either one, just make sure you don't use metal utensils on them (this goes for any non stick set), and make sure you don't let shit sit in your sink for ages; not only is it nasty but it breaks it down over time.
