On October 19th supporters of Ron Paul will come together for what is looking to be the biggest one day donation in the history of US politics. Looking to beat our 6 million dollar day in 2007 on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party we have pledged our support and our money to restore our rightful liberties.



I hope you will join us on October 19th to tell the Media (GE, Comcast, Murdoch, Ted Turner, et. al), that the people choose the candidates, not them, not the Corporations, not anyone else. Their blatant blacking out of the candidate most threatening to their power structure is heinous, unjournalistic, and wrought with manipulation. It is time to take a stand against all the outlets (Fox, CBS, ABC, CNN, etc.) and tell them no more. We will go straight to the people to get our message out and be heard. I hope those of you who are either sympathetic to Ron Paul, or are supporters, or just dislike the Media will pledge to donate to on October 19th.



Whether you donate a dollar, or a hundred dollars, the important thing is to show the media, and to encourage Ron through the sheer number of supporters. We all ready have more donors combined than all the other GOP candidates. All the other candidates Obama included are funded by the likes of Citigroup, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and the rest of the Corporatist Gang. If you are a member of Occupy Wall Street, or the Tea Parties and are sick of the looting of the American people through bailouts & handouts, and subsidies to the Corporations then I urge you to look at Congressman Ron Paul who has fought special interests, Corporate subsidies, Foreign Welfare, and unending, senseless Wars and foreign interventions for over 30 years.

Contribution records are facts. I consider opensecrets.org a pretty reputable group for such information, but if you want to dispute their accuracy, go for it. And are you arguing that calling him anti-corporate and anti-war is not an accurate summary of his philosophy?

Opensecrets pulls directly from FEC records, so it is about as factual as you will get. I was disputing the fact that his list of top 20 contributors were defense contractors and 'evil' corporations. Not all corporations are necessarily bad, though I am pretty partial to repeal Corporate person hood. Due to the regime structure to compete you pretty much have to become a LLC. If you make your money through consumer preference and demand, then there is nothing wrong with that. When you start using Government privilege, monies, and other immunities, then that becomes a problem. If you notice most of Ron's money come from individual donors from all walks of life and not from the Fortune 500s and Banksters of the World like the other guys.

Gold standard heavily favors creditors and people with gold. Great for gold bugs, but worse than current affairs for most of America.

How would that take away their ability though? Gold backed money is what the banks really want as they control a lot of the gold in the market, and the only way it would take away their ability is if Ron Paul is saying he will strip them off that right and bring it back to the U.S Government..which he fucking should.
