Game looks fantastic. GiantBomb has a 'building the Bastion' series of videos about the game during its production also, which for me ended up being very insightful with the way they tackled the project, and what hurdles they had to overcome to get it approved for XBLA: http://www.giantbomb.com/bastion/61-32085/videos/

Got a 4000 point card as an early birthday gift. I grabbed the 2 most recent map packs for blops but was torn between using the rest for this or Outland. After the reviews yesterday, I can safely say I will be grabbing this when I get home today. Looks fantastic. Then I just have to wait until my actual birthday week for Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. Still on the fence about From Dust though.

Bastion on PC by end of year, no plans for PS3 release

SuperGiant games has promised that hack n' slash action-RPG Bastion will arrive on PC before the year is out. PC gamers are having to wait while the developer crafts some decent computer controls.

"We are taking our time to make sure the default control scheme on PC feels really good," said creative director Greg Kasavin. "It will still support game pad controls but we want to make sure folks playing with a mouse and keyboard have a very good experience."

Unfortunately for PS3 fans, SuperGiant has confirmed that there are "no plans" for PlayStation Network release. Sorry, guys!

Games out on XBLA today for 1200 MS Points. You can check out the Destructoid review of Bastion here and whine about it on various running forum threads around the Internet.

Haven't had a ton of time this week, I am fairly sure I am close though. I was grinding up money though so I could max a couple more upgrades instead of just finishing the first playthrough.

I finished the game a few days ago. This game had some of the best presentation in any game I've played in a while. The Narrator combined with the occasional vocal track was simply divine. Add onto that some of the best storytelling I've experienced in a game in a long time, I'm gonna call this one of my new favorite games.

The NG+ option is well done, there's even a story reason for it... or there can be, at least!

PC release was today. I've been playing non-stop; this game is gorgeous, has great music, and is incredibly fun. The trials and "who knows where" portions are insanely addicting.
