Misc. Series Recommendations?

Basically, I am looking for a long running series. No reality shows, no sitcoms. Preferably with an hour long episodes.

I've seen/up to date with a lot of shows (Doctor Who, Fringe, Californication, Archer, etc etc)

Any recommendations?

As for what is up on Netflix instant streaming to pick from: Lost, 24, Weeds, Rescue Me, Spartacus, Torchwood (if you can make it past the British accents, I personally couldn't). Firefly is also up if for some reason you've never seen it, and its only one season so you can probably finish it in a weekend.

some normal guy is essentially a Geek Squad tech working at Best Buy, (only without the trademarked names etc). inadvertently gets a government criminal database downloaded into his head. Gets assigned handlers/team to protect him/use him for missions, including the guy who played Jayne on Firefly.

Breaking Bad - 4 seasons that I know of (currently watching season 4 and I don't know if there'll be a 5th as I don't want to inadvertantly find spoilers when finding out)
Criminal Minds - season 7 airing atm

CSI original - 12 seasons
CSI Hocaine - 10 seasons
CSI New York - 8 seasons

Dexter - 6 seasons
Boston Legal - 5 seasons
Justified - currently in it's 3rd season, I wanna add it as it's good but it's not a 'long running series' per se
Fringe - season 4 airing now

I'll say Legend of the Seeker (2 seasons), harmless fun and actually some really good episodes every once in a while, plus half naked men and scantily clad women, can't go wrong really

Medium - 7 seasons, not watched any of it myself but heard it was good

Merlin - 4 seasons, cheesetastic at times but some really good acting (Colin Morgan can have you weeping like a baby)

NCIS - 9 seasons, last couple of seasons have been meh but to each his own

Monk - 8 seasons, never really watched it myself

Numbers - 6 seasons, again, never watched it

Was Pacific any good?

Most people agree that while the Pacific was good, it was nowhere near as good as Band of Brothers. I am of that mindset.

Chuck is a hell of a show. Tons of pop culture references, Jayne from Firefly, and Yvonne Strahovski. What more do you need.
