3/26 Update Patch Direct Download (136 MB)

I have uploaded the patched files from today's update for those who are having trouble with SE's utterly retarded updating system. I posted this in the update thread as well, but I figured some may have trouble finding it within the thread.

Just drag and drop the files into your FFXI install folder (IE C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\FINAL FANTASY XI\)

Should only have to download roughly 5 files after doing this.

Is that 'all' of the updates from a fresh install or something? I didn't expect it to unzip to 1gb of dats.

No, that is the .DATs that were updated only. Compressed, the files are 136MB. Uncompressed, they are 986MB. This is not unusual; the files are usually compressed around to a ratio of 10-15%, depending on their content.

maybe im just lucky but this is the most flawless update ive ever had, not once have I dc'd, and it only took an hour...
