We have a treat for Siliconera readers this week with news about an unannounced Square Enix game. I can’t say anymore for the moment other than this will be an exclusive and the game will surprise you.

Well, I suspect the surprise lies in a continuance of a franchise. Another FF wouldn't surprise people, nor would a DQ. Dunno, guess I'll just patiently wait for little more than a name in all likelihood.

i'd take an FFVII remake, as long as i also get an FFV-VI PSP remaster, and FFVIII-IX remake as well.
wouldn't want it to be a full full remake tho. would like if they kept their 'series progression' even visually/technologically

Why would you want a FF7 remake? Would newer graphics really be so amazing? Besides, they'd just put more stupid side-story fangirl bishie shit in like they did with all the dumbass sequels/prequels, and cut out half the playtime.

If they're going to remake one, it should be the one with the incomprehensible salvia-trip story and tard-mode-easy junction-hp-and-str-then-cast-aura-to-win gameplay.

I'm not nobody. I want that. Actually, not really. It's my favorite FF but I'm not a fan of remakes. I'm all for new titles, even sequels, but remakes simply have no appeal to me.

i think it would somehow. i'd love to see FF7 done in Crisis Core's general direction, because i'd like to see how FF7 would fit into its compilation if it was made to follow the new art direction. also, for HD quality and full channel music.

for me, its really about having more polish. Like, revised script, better graphics, better sound, better fmv. maybe an extra boss or two.
