i think like 10 people have played any of the mainline Divinitys but after their work with Original Sin and Baldur's Gate let's fuckin go
I know its been talked about in other threads etc but realistically if you want to dip your toes in the Divinity world just play Divinity Original Sin 2. If that catches your interest then you'll get into the other games with a lot of love and appreciation that they are older games but still fun.
I was having that convo in another thread. I currently own OS1 so I may do that after all. Although I'm sure OS2 will be really cheap during the winter sale so may check it out then
I have both, but stopped OS1 about halfway through. Started up OS2 but didn't get too far.
Have forgotten enough that I can probably go back to OS1.
Original Sin 2 is the only one I've played, and that's the only one I need to say Hell Yeah!
Ok so I started Divinity and this is just older BG3 without DND mechanics huh. I think I will enjoy it.
Also, I am currently reading Wheel of time and the game mentioned magic coming from the Source and the Source becoming tainted. Sounds familiar...
Edit: Although, not gonna lie it's making me want to just continue my Durge run lol
What about AI?
I'm not seeing it in the article? Am I blind?
I was kinda hoping they'd go back to the ARPG roots of the series since this wasn't an Original Sin title but I guess they've decided that turn based is now their thing.
their turn based games were a hell of a lot better than their ARPG games but coulda been cool to see what they could do with more resources. regardless they've dropped 2 all-time top-10 CRPGs back to back so lesgoo for #3
will i actually complete this one or will i again fizzle out in its vastness and insurmountable chonkitude
still loved OS2 and BG3 tho
I am glad they are sticking to turn based because BG3 was my gateway to their games lol
I apologize, it's in the Bloomberg interview
