Can't wait, I'm hoping we get both JSR/JSRF and it sells well enough to make them think about adding another game in the series.

I hope they actually give it some TLC this time around unlike all of their super lazy Dreamcast ports of 2011.
I only ever played a couple hours of Future, so I'm interested in playing the original assuming it isn't a botched port.
Oh my god, I was just thinking about JSRF and how I wish I could play it again but I dont have my xbox anymore. Hope they release both.
uh, jet grind radio was on dreamcast. jet set radio future was on consoles.
Cool, now all we need is a playable version of JSRF.
They better not fuck with the soundtrack (Looking at you, Crazy Taxi)
AWWWWWWWWWW SHIT

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...c-psn-and-xblaJet Set Radio launches on Windows PC digital download, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, Sega has announced.
Sega described the Dreamcast port as an "upgraded HD version". The distinctive cel-shaded adventures of Tokyo graffiti rudie Beat debuted on Dreamcast back in 2000, followed by a sequel, Jet Set Radio Future, on Xbox in 2002.
Meanwhile, Sega has announced a competition for US and UK gamers that offers fans the chance to design 18 brand new pieces of in-game art that will feature in Jet Set Radio.
Winners get a prize pack that includes a Rukus from Etón Corporation - the world's first Bluetooth sound system with solar power - and other gubbins. The official website has more.

First sentence made me jump to my xbox to turn it on. Fuck them.
Dear lord, I hope they touch up some of those textures....., the 720p resolution is working against the style at its current state.
Looks pretty good imo
Glad to see Beat or whatever the blond chick in the helmet still looks retarded.
Also, I wish I had my xbox right now so I could be playing this.
Welp, since im home for the weekend im grabbing my dreamcast library to finally bring to my apartment and play through this again..

I got to play a build of Jet Set Radio running on Xbox 360 and it is pretty even though the HD re-release wasn’t complete. The first thing I noticed is Jet Set Radio took up the whole screen unlike the windowed Sonic Adventure Dreamcast port. I skated down the streets of Shibuya-cho with Tab, one of Beat’s buddies. The goal of Jet Set Radio is to control turf by coloring spots with colorful graffiti. There’s a mix of platforming since you need enough speed to reach high areas and some planning involved. After you tag so many spots police officers dressed in SWAT gear storm the area and try to hug your skater to death. Other stages that weren’t available in the demo have players tag rival gang members (gotta love the Noise Tanks) and later in the game you have to skate away from tanks.
Sega made one modern change to Jet Set Radio. You can use the right analog stick to manually control the camera. Oh, and the game will have eighteen new tags from the on-going Jet Set Radio custom graffiti contest. (The demo actually had a custom tag to remind people about the contest.) The bad news is a Sega employee explained Jet Set Radio won’t have online tag sharing even though the Dreamcast release let players download new tags through SegaNet.
We also confirmed Jet Set Radio for PSN and XBLA will have the extra levels added to the North America version – Batam Street and Grind Square. However, the music from Jurassic 5 and Rob Zombie may not be in the game. A Sega representative explained to Siliconera, right now they have 70% of the music from the Dreamcast game confirmed for this version. Songs from B.B. Rights, Guitar Vader, and Hideki Naganuma will be in this version of Jet Set Radio. Sega is trying to track down rights for other songs, some of which have changed hands over the last decade.
Ohhh cmon sega, you can do it! Don't let me down!
http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/25/je...a-this-summer/You'll be able to listen to Professor K and his circa-2000 futuristic pirate radio station anywhere. Sega's updated version of Jet Set Radio is coming to PlayStation Vita alongside its PS3, Xbox, and PC releases, the publisher announced today. It'll include "Vita camera integration" in an unspecified capacity, and touchscreen graffiti mechanics.
The summer release will be playable for the first time on Vita at E3. Will we take time out of our packed E3 schedules to play an old game? Of course we will.
need to add vita tag on the title
Oh snap Dragula
