With Beta 4 closing soon (or closed for many of us due to work) it's time to see what people were able to do!

So it's simple were you able to accomplish your goals during this Beta?

Fell short of getting THM to 20 and getting Ifrit out of the way due to 3102. Secondary leveling suffered, too. One of my initial goals is to get all the combat classes to 15. Haven't touched gathering/crafting at all.

Got most of what I wanted to do finished.
(Starting from scratch, not using legacy character)

Main storyline up to "Lord of the Inferno"/Ifrit
THM and ACN to 20
LNC/ARC/CNJ/PGL to 10 (meant to go to 15)
Botanist to 18 (meant to go to 20)
Alchemy to 16
Weaving to 15
Fully explored all the cities and their bordering regions.
Setup both my Retainers.
Met lots of cool people who i'll undoubtedly enjoy playing with again.

Missed getting started on Leather, but there'll be plenty of time for that later.
Didn't really go hunting for any dungeon gear either, though at the rate of leveling in this game, i'd probably just be replacing it on Day 1 of early release anyway.

didn't really get much accomplished. didn't have much time to play. rushed the main story quest up to the airship pass with my legacy character and that was about it. did get my inventory straightened.

one question i had was if there was a way to change the inventory system back to a list of items that i can read rather than a group of icons i have to mouse over to see precisely what they are.

Ran the first dungeon and got to see all 3 cities a bit. Considering how much time I had to play I'm pretty content with that. This next week is going to be hell though.

Should have skipped CRP and done WVR higher. Just had a lot of logs and crap from BTN so decided to use them. Also spent too fucking long doing HQ synths of all the moko grass I gathered for exp instead of doing crafting log entries. Was going to do the same with Cotton Bolls/Yarn, but decided to just do quick synth of over over 300 Cotton Bolls instead. Slowed down when I ran out of lightning shards and had to gather more as well.

Overall I'm happy with my progress. Originally planned ACN20, CNJ15, WVR15, BTN15, but got CNJ done in one day after running dungeons with an LS mate. Definitely would have continued combat classes if I wasn't locked out of instances, tells, linkshell, friends list, etc.

Arcanist was all I could level so once I hit 20 on that, I stopped doing quests entirely so I didn't entirely waste the exp.

After that, it was just fishing logs and minion hunting. I wanted to craft a bunch of stuff but people have zero concept of gil value right now, so the markets were pretty much pointless.

Plans changed due to getting 90000'ed while trying to do the 1st dungeon. I had planned on doing Conj to 20 along with the associated story and job quest.

I ended up getting Conj to 16 after not doing much on it after 90000
I did get Goldsmith to 20 along with Miner to 14, and Fisher to 12(?).

Found out HQ Fish + Fishing Leves = ZOMG I AM SWIMING IN XP.

XD I was thinking: Ratatapa, dear, your spelling and grammar are always terrible.

I feel like I got what I wanted accomplished. Would have liked to be in longer to do more testing but 3102 made sure I didn't get to. I am glad that I got hit by 3102 rather than several other people who are less informed about the game in my LS and wanted to see what it was about. Rather me than them.

No errors. I barely played Saturday and Sunday cause I felt like watching Community and playing Dynasty Warriors 8 instead.

20 LNC/MRD/PGL/MIN/BSM, story finished, decked out friends and myself in as much HQ 20ish stuff as I could. Pretty happy with progress. Leveling partner doesn't have early access so I'll probably spend the first few days mining up a storm and maybe level botanist and GSM.

I got 3102'd after a day and a half or so, so I didn't get to accomplish everything I wanted. Was hoping for 4-5 jobs to 20, main story to Ifrit done and a little crafting. I got;

THM and GLD to 20.
CNJ to 11+ (working on it now, prolly get to 15+ by end of beta ext.)
All others to 3-4. (unlock and first kill some mobs quest)
Ifrit killed.
No crafting at all.

Was hoping to get ACN and MRD to 20 as well, at least, but didn't get a chance to thanks to 3102. Still not even sure if I want to keep playing, so far it's crazy easy and you just spam your spells/abilities with very little skill needed. I get that it's super early in levels and it's made that way but give me a little difficulty.

I really hope they are able to easily resolve those issues and a rollback is not required.
