Keep gear acquisition and related discussion (Ghastly stone boosts etc) to the equipment thread. This thread is to discuss the event itself (The zone design, mobs, etc).
Mobs include:
Panopts, Treants, Snapweed, Rafflesia, Ameretat, Belladonna (Morta?), Sapling, Flytrap, Funguar, Luckybug, Beetle, Opo-opo, Lapinion, Twitherym, Wasp, and a single Heartwing.
Belladonna is the one that jumps out at me.
Spoiler: show
Lebondopt wings stack to 12, alongside the Verdigris stones. (Known from the other update, but thought I'd state it here.)
Entrance is just round the corner from Bivouac 2. Stick to the right hand wall. It's effectively east of the bivouac, but you have to around.

Went in with 1/1/1.
You have to defend the tent for primary 15 min / secondary 25 min.
Monsters walked towards the tent, you can run out in to the map and kill them before they get anywhere close. There are also monster dens in the area you can kill, not sure if it affects respawn rate.
Noetic can give a stockade that pops up at the tent, mobs will attack this first instead of the tent.
You get the KI if you are the leader that entered it seems.
Wings are random items like normal loot. Vial of transflurry seems to be random when you open the chest. Two people got in my group from the chest.
Gear also drops like the weapons did in the previous Skirmish. Didn't see the Morta mob, just treants, flytraps, beatles, ladybugs, funguar. The movespeed of the mobs seems to increase as time goes on but I am not 100% about that. For 1/1/1 they only came from one direction.
Whew! What a blast.
You start off where those panopts in the top right of Yorcia used to be, with that Lair. There's a bivouac thing that you have to defend. (Cantonment)
Mobs start coming from the south, and you have to hold them off. We held off a wave, then went where they came from, and found a Noetic Ascension that we got a barricade from (With some japanese text), and a Monster Den, that had a decent chunk of HP, but we believe when we took it out, stopped spawning Panopts.
The monsters would attack the Cantonment when they reached it, and you get a message when they hit. If a barricade is up, they hit that instead.
As far as we could tell, there'll be a ton of Monster Dens around that you take out, and they'll slow the onslaught of mobs.
We did 1-1-1, and had to survive for 15 minutes for primary, 25 for secondary objectives. Once 15 minutes hit, a huge wave of mobs came and they all had movement speed. It wasn't too bad though.
I had two Lebondopt Wings and a Verdigris stone in my chest, people had similar stuff. Had the mage legs and the light armor feet drop.
Mobs don't aggro, they just make their way to the tent.
Oh, so that's pretty nice for a loot pool. You get wings to buy your own armor, plus you get armor to drop directly in the loot pool, plus stones to augment, all from one run? I guess the longevity will be in the augmentation then, because it doesn't sound like it will be very difficult to get the armor you want.
depends on the cost of the armor. could be something stupid like 20 wings per piece
I guess, but sounds like Wings are just the Plasm of this event, since you can get straight drops presumably guaranteed when you finish. Wouldn't take many shots at the RNG for two straight drops to start getting stuff you wanted unless you only wanted like one piece. Only 25 minutes for one event and the parts were ridiculously cheap for I/I/I, at least they were before the update. For comparison, there's no way to buy weapons from the first set of Skirmishes, need to get them as straight drops.
So by defend does that mean you have to kill stuff or could you theoretically just hold/kite/super tank/sleep/etc it?
Okay well just got done with one, got Hagondes Coat, and Otronif Harness. There are Bestali Dens (probably spelt name wrong) I don't know what they do >.> I ran out and killed the 3 that were in the area that I could find and nothing seemed to change, they continued to spawn rapidly.
My mule got a vial of Trasnlurry from a box idk what that does >_>;
translurry lets you +1 a weapon
Any insight on difficulty with average iLvl?
Random note, someone was having a really bad day when they wrote the help text for Lebondopt Wings:
"The wing of a black twitherym that flutters within the deepest recesses of otherworldly skirmishes. Its inconceivably dark color often reminds pioneers how pathetically miniscule they are in the grand scheme of things."
1/2/3 pop.
Still 15min/25min
New map, monsters come from two sides in this one. They start coming a lot faster as well.
Flytrap, Panopt, Funguar, Rafflesia, Ladybug, Beetle, Treant
With rank 3 legs I could choose Stockade 1, Stockade 2 or Tent restore as defense options. The stockades are pretty tanky.
The shield dropped but I don't think anyone lotted it.
