Headset advice

So my logitech g330's broke. I really loved them and I really love the wrap around style. Problem is logitech doesn't make the g330 anymore, or any decent PC warp around anymore. Is there any good wrap around headsets for PC that I'm just not finding? Preferably under 40$ and 5.1 surround but will take non-surround as well.

Also looking at the Plantronics GameCom 380 but I'm not sure how well it will feel as I wear glasses. Any kind of review on them would be nice. Thanks BG.

I have these, and they are amazing, but their 300$ bucks (400 when i bought them, so coming down is nice)

G540 logitech, and they were pretty amazing, and for the price they're really hard to beat at this point. their only 80$ It's twice what you wanted to spend, but if you have multiple gaming systems, i would highly recommend splurginging on a set of these.

Their both wireless and work with skype,vent,TS3,mumble, etc. without any hitches. The g540's manual states that there maybe incompatibilities when using them with a windows PC, but i never encountered them (their designed for console use) and they worked great with my pc,360,and ps3 all plugged in.

Alternatively, you can use microphone and headphone if you're worried about audio quality (Logitechs will be overpriced if you need that):

Headphones within budget (Stick to portable Sennheisser or Audiotechnica if you pick Circumaural headphones).

Previously, I had this and moved to mic + headphone. My microphone is different but out of your price range. Still, the benefits should appear similar:

1. Can use mic without using headphones (When you really can't be assed to do so)
2. Better audio quality

That said, no wireless is quite the annoyance. If you really need to keep wireless, look for nonSennheisser/Audiotechnica wireless headphones. The linked mic attaches to wireless, but you can make a clip or just leave at the table (This is what I've done when I don't use my headphones).

That's the same version of the ones I had. As I said logitech doesn't make then anymore so the price went up. They used to be 40$. Much as I love them, I can't justify that price. If I'm going to spend that much I'll get a 7.1 surround sound headset.

I suggest any Steelseries headset really.

Comfy on the head and ears. Can have it on for hours. Can endure lots of abuse.
Yeah it's a little more expensive. Prime though makes it a bit cheaper.

I've paid for headsets 200~300$. This one has been good to me despite it being largely cheaper than other headsets. I guess I pay mostly for the comfort since I game for long hours. Yugl's opinion is solid for a cheap route.
