Incident according to detainee
From NBC news
Have to say I have mixed feelings on this. Not sure how much of the guys account is accurate vs. shaken memories and/or exaggeration. Working at a theatre, I'm aware of what kind of dicks the MPAA seem to be on their anti-piracy crusade. For some reason they still blame theatre employees and camcorders and not the screening prints they send to reviewers. But at the same time, who would bring a recording device to a movie theatre and think it would be O.K. to just say it was turned off.A Google Glass user in Ohio has run into an unexpected consequence of wearing a camera on your face at all times: Movie theaters might suspect you of piracy. Homeland Security agents pulled the man from the movie and interviewed him aggressively, though no charges ended up being filed. But is it really a surprise?
I'm not familiar with google glasses and if the short recording times are accurate. I almost see people with access now trying to push boundaries or even hope for a visit from homeland security looking for a payoff.
