I think it's kinda odd how people keep bringing up how good a shot it was, but I think it pretty clear the guy went for a headshot and got lucky to hit the neck (the slimmest region on his body at that angle). 2 inchs to either side and it's Trump attempt #1 all over again.

I don't think those people understand how strong what he was doing was. An effect for generations. The man spoke at colleges to young individuals. That's indoctrination at it's finest. He was touring to turn minds toward more of this horse shit.

I won't celebrate his death. I do think it's tragic to lose human life, and I do believe America is at it's best when it's able to have discussion, but the comeuppance isn't surprising at all. And what he did and the right are doing isn't discussion to begin with. Discussion doesn't leave the other side out while campaigning about, spewing hateful beliefs and spouting rhetoric that is damaging to society as a whole.

It's just sad that we're here.

i don't feel this was a particularly difficult shot. 200 yard shot you can do with an open iron sight on a 30 year old M16; it's a task anyone going through basic training has done. with modern optics, this would be a cakewalk. i agree with you; should have been able to canoe this jackass's head. still, got the job done though.
