That's what I'm saying. Why make the shutdown easier for the people causing it. If they want to threaten a shutdown then make it painful. Make them explain to their constituents why lapsing on their insurance or risking eviction is worth a wall. Dems are toying with making this politically easier for him when we should be putting the squeeze.

Go for the kill Pelosi. He already fucked up by caving and not doing the national emergency immediately. Dems won, and his base is pissed they waited 35 days for this outcome.

Honest thought is shit would've still be shutdown. Everything in the government shutdown affected poor people and govt workers negatively. Once airports were about to crack and shutdown this shit got resolved quickly.
