Ended up buying Arma just for Day Z and I don't regret it for one second. This mod is amazing and even in alpha offers a pretty awesome and unique experience.

I have a few friends that are playing this, and more who want to but haven't picked it up yet cause they want to have a group ready (fear of playing alone).

I almost bought it till I saw that one video of the kid sniping other players. It would piss me the fuck off to lose everything cause of some dbag 12yr old. I'll probably still pick it up at some point though, friends say its a blast. The hardcore part of it when you die takes it to another level. Every time you see something move you panic.

Arma CO needs to go on fucking sale. I would gladly pay $30 if I thought I was going to play the base game at all, but I downloaded the demo and jfc that game is so confusing.

Have to get a certain distance away. Won't happen if you're just running from them. They can only walk in buildings so find one with two entrances, lead em through one, then go out the other.
