Anybody ever had unknown troubles entering limbus?

We were doing Ultima, but after trading our chips one of our tanks didnt get the battlefield status and only heard a faint hum when checking the enterance thing. Anybody had the same problem? We had the same problem on omega last time, but could win that one with just one tank.

As a side note, with a single NIN tank we managed to get it to 1 fucking percent. That was amazing.

While I've never had this particular issue, I was locked out of limbus once despite having cosmocleanse, and it was just me and some friends, and i'm the main tank =x

The funniest thing though, was that I actually called a GM about it. Hah! like they'd do anything.

Yeah, but in that case you'd get the "No longer hear a faint hum" message. Maxx's problem seems to be that random members just aren't getting the Battlefield entry status.

Yeah. When you plan for two tanks and only have one the fight gets really fucking hard.

Hmm if it's not the above... was his timer up? I don't know if they fixed this but a while back my friend thought he could enter Limbus just because his soap timer was up but his Limbus timer wasn't.

Yes it happened to our BRD on Proto-Ultima, he had the cleanse and key item and was on exactly the same limbus timer as the rest of us - and couldn't get the battlefield icon to load. We hadn't engaged any mobs or poked any chests - it just wasn't loading for him. In the end we never did fix it and just had to go on without him and give the BLM party one of the RDMs who never learnt the spell refresh ><

Yeah, that's happened to my Limbus group, too; one time a RNG didn't get the hum. Eventually he managed to get in, but I'm don't know what he did to get it. I don't think he rezoned, but I'm not sure.

This has happened to my Limbus group before, we just had him zone out to Al Tieu and back in. He was then able to come in.

I know RDMs with very small spell lists, too. The only spells they know are Enblizzard, Shock Spikes, Stoneskin, and Blink.

Its a pretty rough fight with 2 tanks, I know I wouldn't take any less than 3. Can't imagine how rough it would have been with one. Troll.

Ok, but at a level where they are coming to take on Proto-Omega? It's not like a gimp subjob someone has taken to 37. Clearly this person is an LS capable of taking on Proto-Omega and they have brought along a RDM who doesn't have Refresh? Either this RDM is under level 45 brought to the Omega fight solely for Refresh (unlikely) or I have no idea how they levelled to an Omega-fighting level w/o it.
