    Remember Working Designs?

    Well their back, sorta. http://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q3-2006/080706a.html

Theyre called Gaijinworks, of all things, lol. Some people never really liked WD, but we would of never seen some of the games here if they didnt port them over.

Can't wait to see what projects they have in mind.

As the article says, they did an excellent job translating the Lunar series. A big wtf on their new choice for company names, though.

Man what a weird choice of names. Working Design translated some pretty good games.

Off the top of my head:

Silhoute Mirage, Alundra, Lunar, Dragonforce, (some other Saturn RPGs I can't think of), Elemental Gearbolt which was awesome, Raystorm/crisis, Thunderforce amongst others.

But I can't think of any PS2 titles that I enjoyed from them at all. They were like a poor mans Atlus bringing out obscure titles or shooters.

TurboGrafx-16 & Turbo CD: Cadash, Parasol Stars, Exile, Exile 2, Vasteel, Cosmic Fantasy 2.

Sega CD:Lunar: The Silver Star, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, Popful Mail, Vay.

Sega Saturn: Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean, Dragon Force, Iron Storm, Magic Knight Rayearth, Sega Ages, Shining Wisdom.

PlayStation: Alundra, Arc the Lad Collection, Elemental Gearbolt, Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete, RayStorm, RayCrisis, Silhouette Mirage, Thunder Force V,Vanguard Bandits.

PlayStation 2: Growlanser Generations, Gungriffon Blaze, Silpheed: The Lost Planet.

Growlancer was a decent game for PS2; I never played the others, though I heard Silpheed was really good. What also is interesting is they will be doing more that just video games this time, rumor has it they will be doing merch, anime and manga as well.

They'll be doing 360 and PS games, nothing about PC or Wii atm though.

Yeah, avoid the DS game like the plague. Get the complete series for PSone if you can find it... I regret selling mine.

Alundra was probably the hardest game I have every played in my life, without being cheap and using a walkthrough. I loved it.

I think it was the only game that made me say throw my hands up and cave in for the strategy guide. Long after I sold the game, I still have the guide just incase I want to replay it someday.

Forgo the DS game. If you can find the GBA one used, though...it's a nice little old-school RPG.

At least they didn't turn the Lunar series into hentai games, though. *shudders*
