Although no I haven't finished FFX-2 completely yet, but technically they didn't use Tidus as the main char in the sequel and so far he's 'dead'.

Another KH? Awesome. But not sure what they mean by spinoff. I know the final ending in KH2 made it seem obvious another was coming, though.

If it was FFVII I could understand, but FFXII hasn't even come out in america yet and it isn't a sequel, usually prequels are much better.

Sequels don't really bother me, as long as the gameplay is at least decent and it's a good story.

FFX-2 was a below average, but not horrible, game gameplay wise, but at the least the story was pretty good. Come to think of it, it probably would have been better making that a movie.

Maybe the ending rocks but as of now I like the FFX-2 gameplay and battle system quite a bit and story is just decent. Maybe I'm just a huge fan of the job system or something, but changing job so easily and even during battles is pretty nice.

I've consistently heard the same thing over and over about FFXII:

It's a ridiculously fun, good game, but it's too short.

SE probably took note of this and decided rather than to fuck up again to make a sequel, they would make a longer version than that of FFXII in hopes people will like their new game just as much as the other one.

DS lite does indeed own.

but in a couple of months (maybe) Metal Gear: Portable Ops will come out for the PSP. that'll probably be my only real incentive to buy the damn system (well, aside from the portable porn you mentioned )
