I quit when I was a 64thf (cause of rl things, though I was a bit emo over my damage sucking a bit) and came back a month later.

I quit more than a year ago. I still find myself occasionaly wishing to play again, but I remind myself how much work I'd have to do to get back what I lost on my old character and that is enough to steer clear of the game.

I quit about a month after the NA PC release... i only had a 20 some mnk at the time... i wasnt very good... lol i used to pull with pebbles... about 6 months or so later i came back and am still here... (oh and i was elvaan back then too -.- and now im hume ^^)

It's a very liberating feeling, eh? It's nice not being tied down to FF11.

I only read the General Forum, this topic just happened to be there prior to it being moved to FFXI forum. I'm completely free of it, except for the occasional moment where I'd like to play again.

I quit in November, BG WoW'd until June-ish, then came back.

I did once. I think it was for about 3 months. I didn't have anything to do so I just started playing again. Haven't looked back. I've learned to manage my time better and I leveled some jobs that are a fuck of a lot more fun than lolsam. Now I'm in the best LS evar <3 no regrets.

(I almost typed regrets as refresh, which would be an equally accurate statement, but I digress)

I quit about a week into the beta because it was really lame and the server was empty. Then my friends convinced me to get retail and I played with them for a while before quitting. Made a third character that summer, but this time a taru instead of a hume and I've been playing ever since.
