Wii Inquirii

Having a problem with my Wii. None of the controllers are synchronizing with my Wii. Any ideas why it's doing this? Suggestions? I tried changing the batteries on both controllers, and nothing worked.

I bought Zelda and GOW around the first week of Wii launch. I didn't realize that 2 months later they'd still be in the box waiting for a gaming system to insert them in.
