    Downloadable Services (VC, XBLA, PS3 Download Service)

    Hey all, thought this would be a good topic of conversation. And I am not looking to turn it into Wii v. 360 v. PS3. Just wondering what you guys think of the available downloads on each service.
    Wii - Personal favorites are SM64 and Link to the Past.
    XBLA - There are better games coming out by March (see: SoTN and Double Dragon with redrawn graphics). Really most of the games on there now are just puzzle games which I suppose are fun for a couple minutes. But last night I downloaded Small Arms and that game is fun as hell. It is Super Smash Bros. gameplay with guns, and lots of other game modes to play as well, very fun.
    PS3 Download Service - I just recently checked this out, but so far they only have one game of note for download on the console, and that is Lemmings. One of my fave games ever, and just an all around good time.

    Note - I am not talking about demos, or all the themes, movies, etc on the XB.
    What are your guys faves?

    Mario 64 and ALTTP on the VC, nothing really breathtaking on the XBLA, and The PS3 store is kind of dull still and needs to be worked on IMO. (can't do other stuff while downloading?...)

    The march update better fix the horrible automatic settings on the wireless connection too, lol.

    xbox live has the best by far, lots of old school, lots of original games, and all of them have some kind of online multiplayer or leaderboards. Plus, geometry wars is worth the purchase price of a 360 alone

    It was released for EU last night, I got it yesterday at midnight. The highlight of my week at the present moment is logging onto Wii shop channel and seeing what the latest releases are. Fuck assignments VC is where its at for me. However there was no Super mario world and no Zelda link to the past which I read from a thread on here that you NA people got that on monday right ? Also Wii News channel was released for EU today but its crap. Google news serves me well.

    Wii's service is great... especially after next week.
    XBL's service is also great. They have a nice selection of demos and if you've got money to spend... some movies/TV shows to pick up as well.
    PS3's service on the other hand is absolutely fucking horrendous. It literally took 5-6 hours to download a 650mb demo (GTHD) and the update I needed to download when I first got the system took longer than a fresh installed FFXI update.

    Seems like your wireless is screwing up with the PS3 like mine is... that, or your connection is terrible.
