Raise Evasion/Parrying/Guard/Shield to 8 plox! No really, only level 4 compared to 8 in "melee" skills is fucking stupid. Raising the cap to 16 so you could increase 2 skills to 8 is also a good fix imo.Originally Posted by Sonomaa

Seconded. At the very least, allow people to merit anything and then be able to change them from active/passive within the merit limits without having to respend merits all over again. That way people will still have to specialize for any particular fight / event, but they can have different builds for each job as needed.Though Id like them to unlock all weapons and allow them to be merited up to 12, I want to be more than a specialist in one weapon type.

Do that, and I'm totally fine with raising the cap to 80. As long as mages can't sub haste or refresh the world is sane. Because if the cap ever got to 100, I'd play BLM/RDM even without convert in a heartbeat...or hell, NIN/RDM and have my own refresh/haste.
