    MojoPac and VPNs

    http://www.mojopac.com/portal/content/hellomojo.jsp

    Anyone ever use this, and does this actually work? I'm thinking that http://www.openvpn.net would do the same thing (I've yet to install it though, cause I just go straight to my gaming comp and not my crappy wanna-be "proxy" comp) because it says somewhere in the description that it is just a VPN (Virtual Private Network) except you can put it to any device with a USB.

    ::edit:: Come to think of it, it is just a VPN, because it is connecting to your computer through a secure line, so... yeah disregard whatever crappy description for this program above, but the question remains, does it work or would creating your own VPN work out just the same?

    ::edit:: To clarify and change title >_>;;

    I don't think mojopac is a vpn, it looks more like something that saves your file structure and user preferences on a usb hard drive.

    What precisely are you trying to do with this anyway? I use open vpn and I'm not sure it does what you're thinking.

    Basically be able to remote access one of my computers from work(lol state)and be able to browse the internet and/or play games from it securely.

    ::edit:: Basically I want to lessen my reliance on web based proxies (I use circumventor) but its pretty damn slow.
