Draw Distance modifications?

I've searched the Windower.net forums with very little luck on this. Is anyone, anywhere, running a program or plug-in that successfully increases the landscape draw distance for FFXI after the Oct/Dec 2006 and March 07 updates?

Wiccaan's Draw Distance program still works for me. I haven't updated to the newest (post-March patch) version of Windower yet.

You have to load it while the game is already running for it to work.

I noticed that over at Windower.net but the info on it was really sketchy. If it's Sono approved it's good enough for me.

Im the one who was beta testing the newest wiggle version that became the current release, yarnball ftw!

edit: the other thing I like about yarn is the chat logging stuff, means I have to pay less attention when somebody lists a death time

edit2: and the haste timer for WHM as I learn... and the cor roll timer

The reason I havn't downloaded it in the past is because I thought it was just a timer program, I've got ZeroCast for that - which is working again.

Is there a DrawDistance solution that doesn't use Windower?

No.

Technically Wiccaan's program might not need it (not sure about this) but you have to be able to tab out to change the values anyway.

Since Windower has screenshot capabilities included in the package there's no reason not to use it anyway.
