Good free image hoster

Not sure if this belongs here, but KI has exploded, and my kick-ass avatar works no longer.
I need something that costs me nothing, but doesn't cop out when uploads are all about.

Image shack seems to make frogs much too often, is photo bucket any good?

i've never had to relink my current avatar or sig in the assault of views on threads i post in

Never had any issues with photobucket, and my sig and avatar have never been frogged. And they get viewed just as often as any hot drama or amazing discovery pic, if I've posted on that same page.

Unless that's because as people see it on other threads in smaller doses, the rate of new views is low and they get cached so that when they all spam the hot drama thread, most people looking at it already have it cached, whereas the new drama pic is being viewed by all 10000 people for the first time at once.
