Apollyon SE Time Chests?

Just finished, but didn't complete, an Apollyon SE run where we got a bit screwed on time chest pops. Is it normal to not have time chests pop on the third floor, Skeles and the Corse? We havn't done a SE in ages so we're a bit rusty on the info.

We only went in with 10 and not much damage capability so we didn't clear the earlier floors as fast as we could have with a different job mix.

Additionally, the 4th floor boss initially showed up as a NPC type mob. How many regular weapon mobs do you have to kill to open up the boss? We just got pissed that we couldn't bum-rush him with 5 mins left.

"Only" and "10" made my brain explode. You can clear the whole zone with 5-6. 3 drg as melee could probably pull it

Never noticed that on 4th floor, but I always clear the whole zone. Same for the chest, should always pop...thats weird.

The map on the wiki isn't exactly accurate. There's five or six spots where the time chest can show up, you have to scour the whole floor to find it. Last time I did SE, the chest was behind where the Floor 3 entrance is.

As for the NPC-Boss on the fourth floor, that seems uncommon. I know he gets weaker as you kill the other weapons on the floor, but I didn't know he could be locked from fighting until you kill a set amount.

I'm aware that this can be low-manned but LS activities for all. Anyways, we did scour the entire floor and cleared everything. Has it happened to anyone else or did we just get some weird glitch?

Did you check right behind the spot you teleport in on? When we first started doing Limbus we were relying on the JP maps that were out there (and referenced on the wiki now), and this time chest pop location was unmarked. So for a couple of runs we would occasionally get boned by thinking we didn't get a time box for that floor.

As for the Armory weapon, it showed up as an NPC? In our runs we tried attacking it one run before we had killed all the other weapons on accident. The ninja that hit it had his melee hits do 0 damage, and consequently the boss didn't aggro him; it just hung around chilling on his little platform.

Usually when we doing SE last floor, we always killed the boss before we killed the last weapon that behind portal. I think maybe just only need to killed certain number of weapons to weaken the boss?

It probably popped behind you at the entrance where you come up from the crabs.

I've never seen Armory NPC. Kinda neat.

What was your setup to be so far behind in time?

This place is best done with a balance meleeburn, really. Just remember to bring some daggers for the 2nd floor >

My group usually kills 7 weapons before the armory, never noticed anything like what you said. Then we kill the last weapon and gtfo o.o
