FFII - Blitz question

Hello! I recently downloaded it for PC, and I'm stuck fighting Vargas as Sabin. I am required to use Blitz but I'm more than likely pressing the buttons either sooner or later. Any idea when you have to input them? Some help would be much appreciated, I was too young when it came out

You select the command Blitz and when the hand is on Sabin you input the command then hit whatever key you have the "A" button assigned to, and he should do it. Also, if you aren't using a gamepad for your PC, I reccomend hotkeying in the diagonal directional buttons because you will need to use those later for blitzes.

Those diagonal blitz moves are a pain in the ass to do when I'm playing it on the GBA.

The blitz command you need is <- -> <-. For pummel. Its the only blitz sabin knows that level and the only one needed to defeat vargas. Also, you don't need diagonal inputs for the blitzes, in fact, there's lengthened ones that are just 4 way on the dpad. http://www.ffonline.com/ff6/ shows both the Lengthened and standard 8 way blitzes.

That is not exactly true. He knows aurabolt and most likely suplex as well, you just have to check his Blitz screen for the moves unless you already know them due to a previous play through. I am currently doing a low level game challenge, at his lowest level possible in the game, 7 iirc, he already knows aurabolt, otherwise beating Ultros without it would make a very hard, heavily luck based fight during a LLG, almost impossible.
